For the people out there that know Markan on a personal level I’m sure you’ll agree that there simply aren’t enough words to describe the boy wonder. Markan was born and raised in the cultural and artistic explosion that is East London.

Being of West Indian origin, Markan was surrounded by music and most of his childhood years consisted of listening to his dad playing the drums while he danced along to the beat. From an early age he always knew he wanted to be a dancer and his passion for it just kept growing.

The Eldest of 8 sibling’s, responsibility was something that was part of growing up. Markan would be described by friends as someone who’s always smile’s, fun to be around, easy to talk to and loyal.
